Three guys from very different backgrounds are putting down a strong swinging medley of classic standards. Joe Delaney is a world class piano player of extraordinary skill. Having played with the Artie Shaw orchestra for many years, he has recorded with many famous artists. He imparts a unique quality of strength and soulful blues flavors to everything he does. Kevin Mauldin is a highly accomplished and versatile Bass player currently doing both Jazz and classical venues around South Florida. Phil Tirino on drums adds a uniquely interesting combination of highly syncopated rhythms and sounds that are guaranteed to make your feet start tapping. This unlikely mix comes together to make some very sweet, hard-driving and soulful sounds come alive. The songs are for the most part classics and always a pleasure to revisit.
