Chrome Dome

Chrome Dome are a relatively new Melbourne outfit who've made quite a splash with their raucous and unpredictable live shows and the release of a few highly limited 7inches and cassettes. Now Melbourne's Lexicon Devil label presents this handsomely-packaged 'mini-album' at a nice price. With members coming from the art/post- and crust-punk scenes, Chrome Dome are delving into and mastering a sound which few others are approaching in Australian music. Influenced by cult bands of yore such as Suicide, Primitive Calculators, Screamers, Nervous Gender and Cabaret Voltaire, they're a mixture of punk intensity and synthetic, electronic drones.
