1985年生まれ、イタリア出身のシンガー、キアーラ・イッツィのデビュー作。あのクインシー・ジョーンズにも目をかけられ、2011年モントルー・ジャズ・フェスティヴァル・ヴォーカル・コンペティションにも優勝するなど、様々なコンテストで受賞するまさに若手実力派に相応しいシンガー。2010年にブルータイム・クインテットのアルバム『Lite Blue』でフューチュアされ注目を浴びた彼女ですが、今作が初のリーダー作となります。ピアノ・トリオのシンプルなバックでの直球勝負にて、王道のスイングやバラードから、コンテンポラリーなアプローチまで、伸びやかでヌケの良い声質が全編で躍動します。曲はスタンダードや英語詞曲に加え、イタリア語詩曲で構成。ベースとのデュオによる圧巻のユニゾン曲など見せ場も随所に設定されています。
