    晩年の傑作とはいえない。数箇所、ミストーンがあるか...

    晩年の傑作とはいえない。数箇所、ミストーンがあるからだ。気にならないとはいえない、という程度だが。この演奏を良くしているのは、PAUL BRAYだ。無難にバッキングに徹するのではなく、チェットらしさを壊さない絶妙な切り込み等をしている。チェットは明らかにこれに反応して吹いている。他のアルバムに余り見られないインタープレイを楽しむ、という聴き方もできる。音もよく、曲もよく、演奏、雰囲気もよく、買ってもいい、というモノ。枯れた美しさがここにもある。
