Bunny X, based in NYC, is an italo disco/retrowave duo with influences ranging from early Madonna to FM Attack. Taking inspiration directly from 1980s John Hughes classics such as The Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles, Bunny X (Abigail Gordon and Mary Hanley) created Young & In Love as a concept record oozing with nostalgic and youthful themes such as young love, first crushes, teen angst and anxiety.

80’s シンセ好きやMTV全盛期の洋楽が好きな人にはお勧めです。NY出身の女性デュオで少しクセがあるルックスとは裏腹にどこか懐かしくもあり青春系や恋愛系の洋画にマッチするミュージックは大都会の夜景をバックにドライブする時、最高のBGMになると思います。マドンナに影響を受けたとインタビューで語ってた通りの楽曲が現代でも聴く事が出来るのは嬉しい限り。強いて言えば、もう少しコーラスワークが耳に残るフレーズや盛り上がりがあれば良かったですが、Can’t WaitやHead Rushなどの思わずニンマリしてしまう佳曲もありますので今後も期待したいアーティストです。
