今、スムース・ジャズ（フュージョン）の中で一番聴きやすいのが、このブライアン・シンプソンではないでしょうか。何といっても、マイケル・ホワイトのドラムとの相性が抜群に良い！まぁ、仮にマイケル・ホワイトが又、リズムロジックや自信のプロジェクトをやってくれれば、たぶんそれが一番なのですが・・・。とにかく、このグールーヴ感は精神的にも、肉体的にも、オーディオ的にもとても良い！最高！！
