トランペットにはクリフォードやリーモーガン、ドナルドバード、フレディーはバードのような炸裂を期待してしまう。この人は上手い。そしてどんなスタイルでも吹けると思う。他にエディーヘンダーソンがそうだ。このアルバムでは炸裂が一部聞ける。マストではないが、トランペットが好きな人は持っていたいアルバム。曲の配列、録音、リズム隊も全て素晴らしい。 もっとぶちきれた演奏を聴きたいものだ。
