The Break Mission is a Brooklyn trio showcasing a unique talent for impassioned storytelling and lilting dynamics, much like their revered contemporaries Elbow, Death Cab for Cutie and Doves. Critics and fans alike have described the band as sublime, anthemic and refreshing. Some highlights over the years include showcasing at CMJ, NEMO, 2NMC, Dewey Beach Pop Fest and the International Pop Overthrow. The group performed at Boston's WBCN Rock N Roll Rumble, WFNX New England Product Series and CN8's Backstage with Barry Nolan. The band has been featured in SPIN magazine, performed with artists like Duncan Sheik, The Push Stars and Matisyahu, and contributed songs to various compilations including Starbuck's Music, sold in stores nationwide. Currently, the band is mixing their new EP set to release in early 2009.
