前作がトータルコンセプト的な作品であったが、今作は一曲一曲の完成度が高い。にも関わらず、肩苦しさは一切無く一度聴いたら忘れられないメロディー。完璧だ。

天才と評されるトム・シュルツ率いるボストンの４ｔｈ。ファンの方々には３ｒｄまでの評価が著しく高く、若干過小評価されている本作ですが、個々の曲のクオリティはかなり高いです！ブックレットを読めば、アルバム制作に対するこだわりがひしひしと感じられる！

MIT卒業の天才Tom Scholz率いるBostonの4th(1994年)。 前作に続き8年越しのリリースとなった。音は全体的にクリアになっている印象を受ける。シングルカットされた1曲目のI Need Your Loveからボストンサウンド全開。このアルバムからボストンを知った世代のリスナーは、1stから3rdまでを遡ってさらに衝撃を受けることになります。
