He loved the rockin' sound and later he formed his own band 'The De-An-Tones' He hired a booking agent 'Hetzer's Theactrial Agency' Out Of Huntington, Wv . Bobby and his band played many venues in and round Ohio, Virginia, Wv And Kentucky for several years . Opening for many top artist. Bobby recorded a song he had written on the MRC record label titled 'If You Want My Love' Backed with 'Baby Don't Be That Way ' . The song 'If You Want My Love' was recorded by the HI-Strung Ramblers, A Latino rockabilly band of Los Angeles, California on their first album *Hobo Bop*. While on tour It was the most requested song by their fans . It helped make their first album a big hit . Bobby's songs were recorded on many compilations and can be found on many web sites and downloads sites. The 45rpm record has become a collectors item . In April,'06 Bobby was Inducted Into the Rockabilly Hall Of Fame, thanks to founder and curator Mr. Bob Timmers... Bobby Says: I am honored to be there with the truly greats of The Rockabilly Era... The Rockabilly Hall of Fame was established on March 21, 1997 to present early rock and roll history and information relative to the artists and personalities involved in this pioneering American music genre. Headquartered in a former recording studio in Burns,Tennessee near Nashville, the first induction certificate was issued on November 16th, 1997 for singer Gene Vincent. The creation of Bob Timmers, the not-for-profit entity maintains a website that is supported in part by the fans and artists of the music it represents. Among those recognized by the Rockabilly Hall of Fame are pioneer singers, songwriters, disc jockeys and promoter/producers such as Sun Records owner Sam Phillips.
