Blessed Curse

Blessed Curse, a Nor Cal trio, have been making a name for themselves through selfless hard work, countless shows and unleashing some of the most punishing true heavy metal. The band began as childhood friends forging their love of music, and over the past ten years they've grown into a meticulous killing militia primed to join the bigger leagues. The band have released 3 well-received demos (under the name Devastator) and shared the stage with Kreator, Overkill, Death Angel, Sodom, Napalm Death, D.R.I., Warbringer, 3 Inches of Blood, Hirax, Merciless Death, Agent Steel, Bonded By Blood, Hexen, Exmortus, Heathen, Ghoul and many more through regional touring and even a 40-date US tour. In 2011 the band headed to Trident Studios with producer Juan Urteaga (Machine Head, Testament, Exodus) to lay down their debut full-length. True metal performed with integrity highlighting the band's distinct take on their metal influences and capturing the past, present and future of Blessed Curse. The album is further packaged with killer artwork from Marc Sasso (Dio, Halford), which folds out into a 16-panel poster foldout. This domestic release also includes a bonus track of Black Sabbath's Symptom of the Universe, in addition to the album's already 12-song, hour-long running time. Forming the group as school children the trio are now grown up and have shown their commitment to their cause and to each other and are now preparing to let the rest of the world in on it.
