Blank Attack

Jon W.and David K. had been in several musical projects over the years, and as such had developed a musical rapport. David visualized a new stripped-down sound that was a departure from the sculpted ethereal tones of his ambient incarnation, UNDO. Jon took a break from horn duties with Reverend Glasseye, and resumed the fuzz-laden bass assault. After some time writing material with the trusty drum robot, 'PIP', they began the search for a more organic drummer, and found one with Dave R., former drummer of Girl on Top, and purveyor of groovy triplet fills. The three of them continued writing, and the search began for a singer. Adam C. was looking for a new creative outlet after his previous band, local progressive rock band Specimen 37, had gone on indefinite hiatus. Adding his vocal stylings, melodies, and lyrics to the framework already in place resulted in what is now known as The Blank Attack.
