グリーン・デイのフロントマンと、ノラ・ジョーンズという異色の組み合わせのカントリーソング集。 発売に気が付かず、最近聴きました。 グリーン・デイは追っていたものの、ノラ・ジョーンズは、バンドメンバーだった彼氏と別れてから曲調が変わった印象があり、遠ざかっていました。 日本人が聴くと、カントリーはどれも同じように聴こえそうですが、グリーン・デイとノラ・ジョーンズの声は忘れない。 贅沢な組み合わせです。 カントリーでは、ジョニー・キャッシュ夫妻以来のインパクトかもしれない。 こういう企画はおもしろい。 外れの曲はなく、全体を通してみると、ややビリー・ジョーが前に出ている感じ。 ノラ・ジョーンズは改めて聴いてみようと感じ、アジアツアーが延期中のグリーン・デイも音楽の幅を広げているので、両者とも今後に期待したいです。 また組んでほしい一作でした。
