Going Crazy

This is my third album, and I had lot's of fun making it. My band, Not Quite Right, is already playing two of the songs, along with 14 other songs from my two previous albums. We are playing local gigs in San Diego, and getting ready to branch out now that the band is getting better and drawing larger crowds. Being on stage is not so nerve racking now, and we are having lots of fun performing. This new album, Going Crazy, is a mix of songs, some where I make fun of myself, others that hit relationship issues, and one about my dog Sadie called 'Sadie'. Her song sounds like a song about a girl, but it's really about my apricot poodle (ha, ha). I can't tell you how great it is making songs, and having a good band to play them. What a rush and it's so rewarding. Sometimes I can't believe it's really happening, since I've dreamed about doing this for so long. And now it's happening, after three years of practice, song writing, recording and playing live. This last year, I took some guitar lessons and man did that help. I was reading Rolling Stone last night, and saw that Richie Samboro had taken his first lesson at age 52. It just goes to show you that there is always time to learn more and get better.
