■Barns Courtney：1990年、英バッキンガムシャー州エイルズベリー生まれ、米ワシントンD.C./シアトル育ちのシンガー・ソングライター。SleeperCell、Dive Bella Diveといったバンドに属しながらソロ・アクトとしての活動を目指したものの、なかなか芽が出ず極貧の生活を送った時期があるという苦労人だが、2015年にVirgin EMIからリリースした初シングル「Glitter & Gold」が英ラジオでスマッシュ・ヒットを飾り、たちまち注目を集める存在に。そしてブラッドリー・クーパー主演の2015年映画『二ツ星の料理人』に提供した「Fire」がアメリカでも2016年に全米オルタナ・シングル・チャートでトップ20入りを果たすと、The Who、The Libertines、Ed Sheeran、The Lumineers、Blurなどのオープニング・アクトを務め、人気を拡大した。2017年には『The Attractions Of Youth』をリリース。
