メロディック・デス・メタル、グルーヴ・メタル、オルタナ・メタル…そういった、これまでのアルバムで培われてきたサウンドが凝縮されています。メロデス調の疾走感のある”Silence in the Age of Apes”で幕を開け、シリアスなメロディラインで進むグルーヴィーな”Colossus”や、”Bloody Angel”にも見られるクリーンとシャウトを巧みに使い分け感情豊かに歌い上げる”A Secret Door”など、それぞれの楽曲に彼らの個性が垣間見えます。これまでのファンはもちろん、初めて聴くと言う方にもオススメしたいです。
