Friends since 1944, pianist Al Haig and guitarist Jimmy Raney were group mates in the Stan Getz Quintet of the early 50's and featured on the classic recordings made at the Storyville Club in Boston. Subsequently Getz, Haig and Raney teamed up again in the Choice Studio in March 1975 for this memorable display of talents which made them so revered by jazz lovers worldwide. Also on the date were ex Ahmad Jamal sidemen bassist Jamel Nasser and drummer Frank Gant.
