If anything APC's real achievement was to prove that you could take hip hop to a whole other intellectual level. They liberated listeners from the braindead habits created by a decade of all-too-predictable postures and sounds. Now slimmed-down Airborn Audio has reevaluated it's stance and spent the past 8 months in the studio creating their latest effort GOOD FORTUNE. GOOD FORTUNE is a dense, psychedelic rap attack. Just when the beats start to sound the slightest bit jiggy, they're overtaken with alien drones and bits of electro-musique-concrete and when Priest and Syyid's ultra-bugged out, hyper-intellectual flow kick in, you can practically smell the acrid fumes from the burning microphones.
