Abstrakteur, is an industrial-metal/experimental rock group from Jacksonville, Florida. Their unique, yet hardcore sound is a blend of new wave, metal, grunge, and classic rock styles. Their debut album, 'with Murder in the Eyes' is a perfect example to their fusionist and futurist ideology. It features 12 songs of various formats and engages psychological topics such as isolation, angst, regret and imperfection. The last two songs on the album are actually one complete song, which according to Abstrakteur, '...is a fuck you to the pop music industry.'
