In 2025, celebrating their 15th anniversary, hip-hop band AFRO PARKER releases their first full length album in four years, Listen, on vinyl.

In addition to tracks previously released as singles since 2021, the album features two brand new songs, making up a total of ten tracks.
Lyricists Yanosuke and wakathug don’t paint grand dreams or deep despair. Instead, they focus on the emotions that are hard to put into words and the invisible landscapes of daily life—these are the true protagonists of this work.
Anxieties, prayers, humor, memories, and embarrassment these unnamed feelings are intricately woven into the rhymes and rhythms with care.

The lead track “Listen”, recorded in AFRO PARKER’s signature band style, introspectively explores the tension between self awareness and expression.
“Play Out Stay Out” bursts with cosmic humor, where escapism and freedom collide.
“Nettaigyo” evokes the quiet intimacy of a summer night.
And in the latter half “Ghost”, “Asahi ni Tokerumade”, and “Kaerou” the songs reflect on what’s been lost and the overlapping moments of time, even as people pass each other by.

This album doesn’t offer bold statements or easy answers. What it does offer is the voice of a person living through each day sometimes absurd, sometimes earnest.
