ピノックの選曲のセンスの良さがわかるアルバム。「調子の良い鍛冶屋」や「神秘的なバリケード」など有名な曲の合間にマイナー作曲家の作品が挿入されている。バロック期のマイナー作曲家のチェンバロ作品をこのアルバムで初めて触れるという方が多いのではないだろうか。
