前作シングル「日本の米は世界一」では愛してやまない日本の米への想いの丈を歌い大きな反響を呼びましたが、今回は魚をテーマに引き続き魚への愛を”打首節”で歌い上げています。
2月20日に行った自身最大規模のZepp Tokyoワンマンライブで初披露し、それ以降ほぼ毎回のライブで演奏しておりそのキャッチーさから既にファンには認知度が高い楽曲になります。
