必要最小限の無駄の無い動きで鍵盤を操作するテクニックは見事というしかない。常識で判断すると、一部関節の軟骨をすり減らすような形を作る場面が見られ、ドキリとするが、これが普通のピアニストなら関節部分が稼動してしまい、手を破壊、再起不能へになっていくのだが、シャーマンは軟骨があたっている部分の関節を固定し、稼動させない。低速で長い時間をかけて体を作り、初めて可能になる技術。徹底した正しい練習の積み重ねと目的意識を持った本物のプロのみが、一生をかけて初めて可能になる。そういう技術だ。全く凄い。
