ホールの残響を強く感じさせる録音です。若手の演奏とのことですが、そうした新鮮さや溌剌さのイメージとは異なり、落ち着いた演奏傾向で意外なほどです。若さを発揮した活き活きした演奏を繰り広げて、ムファットの異なる魅力を強烈にアピールしてほしかったところですが、しっとりと品良く普通に仕上がってます。演奏順序は局番に沿ったものではなくばらばらになっています。マルチチャンネルで聴くとLIVE感の強い別の魅力があります。
