途中指揮者がゴリツキに替わるも最近とんと新譜の出る気配は無いが、シリーズの先駆けとしての本CDの価値は高い。5枚目の最後の1楽章のト長調(P.8)の途中に尋常小学唱歌の”村祭り”(村の鎮守の神様の…)にそっくりなメロディーが出てきてちょっと笑える。「ソーソソ、ソラファレ、ド」まで同じで、その先が「シドソファーミ」と少しちがうが、初めて聴くとエ〜ッとぶったまげる。明治後期のこの唱歌の作曲者、南能衛(みなみよしえ)が、この曲を知っていたかどうかは定かではないが、もしかするとこのメロディー、元々どこかの民謡だったのかも。
