クラシックを聴きはじめた頃は、新譜の批評記事が良く過去の名演奏と対比して書かれているのを読んで違和感を感じたものでが、今になってその筆者の心情が判るようになってきました。フィッシャー嬢は技巧的には水準以上（ハーンや全盛期のＭＩＤＯＲＩ程では無いかと・・・）ですが、曲に対するシンパシーというかサムシングが希薄に感じられます。伴奏のヘルムヘンも同様で「幻想曲」は通して聴くのがつらく感じられました。シューベルトでは、ただマルツィやオークレールが懐かしくなるばかりです。
