カルメンについてのみのレビューです。シチェドリンのカルメンは、基本的にはビゼーの編曲なのですが、編曲の域を超えたビゼー作品をモチーフにした創作となっています。編成が面白く弦楽器とパーカションにより演奏されます。カルメンの持っているスペインの舞踊的要素と血生臭いストーリーと、パーカッションの相性がとても良い。途中でアルルの女のファランドールが挿入されていたり、ビゼーの他の作品から取り入れられた曲もあり楽しい作りになっています。演奏は素晴らしく、引き込まれます。
