We have to respect some people’s opinions that do not like many albums. In spite of this, we have not to agree with many criticisms, specially for good and excellent albums. The major part of this band albums (w/ Vinny Burns on line-up) are cool and ”Babylon” is extremely cool (together ”FBTW”), because Don Airey’s participation. Really, I could not understand how this album was criticized and received the rating ”Poor”.

このアルバムの評価が低い理由は、メロディアス・ハード畑のヒューズと、ブルージーなHR畑のバーンズのやりたいことが完全に分離してしまったことが上げられる。TENというバンドの良さはこの二人のやりたいことの絶妙なバランスによって成り立っていた。しかし2はブルージーHR、3はメロディアス・ハードという完全分離っぷりは、1stからリアルタイムに聞き込んできたファンには受け入れがたいものだったワケです。そういうこと抜きでしたら曲は良いのでお勧めできるんじゃないでしょうか？ただ流石に1st、2ndのような良い意味での尖った曲は皆無。

This album has to be re-mastered one day, mainly for Don Airey’s participation as keyboardist whilst on Ten, and Vinny Burns’ guitar solos. Instead of receiving 9,5 as a mark, it has to receive 10,0. So far, it has been one of the Ten’s best album togehter with ”Far Beyond The World” !

Wow! This album is marvellous. To begin with, as for the sound,it is louder and more powerful than the other albums. Also, there is the amazing illustration, by Luis Royo. My mark will be 9,5 ,and that’s all.

コンセプトとしては彼らなりによく練ねった作品だと感じる。サウンドも初期に近いシンプルなもの になっていて聴きやすいだろう。トラック３の「Give In This Time」は1stアルバムにおける 「Stay With Me」の様に切なさとぬくもりを感じる曲で聴き入ってしまう。もちろん
