2010年9月現在お買い得価格なので、まだスタイル・カウンシルのCDを持ってない人には良いのではないでしょうか。キャリア全体から偏らず選曲されていると思います。 私は、Cafe Bleu, Our Favorite Shop, Confession of a pop group などのオリジナルアルバムを持っていますが、これを買いました。 理由はSweet Loving WaysとPicadelly Trailが収録されているからです。 The Jam同様、オリジナルアルバム未収録の曲にも良い曲が多いんですよね。

Another Style Collection is probably the last thing anyone needs. This is not to diminish the music itself, or the genius of Paul Weller. Denying the brilliance of either is impossible, as the elder statesman of British popular music since the punk and post-punk era is deservedly placed on a higher pedestal than most of his peers or the underlings who learned from his style. The problem here is this is the umpteenth Council ’best of’. Record company greed. Nothing more, behind this release.
