かっこいいモノ黒のジャケットに惹かれ貸しレコード屋さんで借りたのが出会い。当時ロック小僧にとって衝撃的なカルチャーショックでした。全編Ｊ・ミッチェルの妖しいボーカルと変則チューニングした不思議なギター、そしてジョコパスのベースが渾然一体となってオンリーワンの音楽が広がります。このアルバムの一番は８曲目のウッドベースをバックに歌う「ブルー・モーテル・ルーム」が艶っぽい。当時からＣＤになってから現在に至るまで聞き続けている僕にとっての名盤です。
