「Wind Of Change」が世界的に大ヒットしたことで、スコーピオンズがワンランク上のバンドに昇格したような印象でしたが、決して「ウィンド～」だけじゃなく、他にも素晴らしい曲が満載です。この頃、ソングライティング面でノリにノッていたと思います。

前々作のアメリカでの大成功ゃ、東西冷戦が終結し世界的にも明るい雰囲気であった時代背景を反映してか、アグレッシブさが抑えられポップさが強調されている。かつては強力な泣きを発散させていたバラードも、M4のように淡い色合いのものとなり、少々物足りない。とはいえ、M3やM6はスコーピオンズ節炸裂の佳曲。スピリチュアルなラストの名バラードM11が、聴き終わった後も静かな深い余韻を残してくれる。
