Charges of Delivery

- Payment via Credit Card: When order is dispatched.
- Payment via COD (Cash on Delivery) : When recieving the delivery.
- Payment via Convenience Store, Pay-easy, Internet Banking, Edy (Edy, Mobile Edy), Chocom, and WebMoney:
10 days within being informed by our payment request mail.
(If the payment has not been completed 10 days within the payment request mail, the order will be canceled on the 11th day)

Delivery Date

Estimated Delivery Date can be estimated when adding the estimated date stated when the order is confirmed with the shipping date (Japan / Overseas).

1. Receiving products at Lawson / Mini-stop: Your order is usually dispatched from HMV ONLINE usually 3 - 5 days (Differs in Location) after your payment has been confirmed.

2. If any defect is suspected during the dispatch, the delivery may not be dispatched by the estimate date of delivery.
The estimate date of delivery of packages payed via Convenient Store, Pay-easy, Internet Banking, Edy (Edy, Mobile Edy), Chocom is when the payment is done at the minimum period.

3. We endeavour to bring our customers every item ordered as much as we can from HMV ONLINE; however please remember stocks are limited and subject to availability. If an item becomes either discontinued or postponed its release, we will cancel your order. We will notify you via an e-mail in such instances.

4. Deliveries outside of Japan will differ depending on each country, and Custom Clearing. The Estimate Date is 6 - 14 days.

Return Items and Cancelation of Items

Your return will be accepted if it meets any of the following conditions:

- we have sent you a damaged item (e.g. a CD case is damaged.)
- we have sent you a marked item (e.g. an item itself is marked.)
- we have sent you an faulty item (e.g. a CD skips while playing.)


If you have been delivered any items in the conditions above, please report the error within 7 days of delivery, to the HMV Customers Service.
If an item in good condition cannot be found (because it is out of stock, deleted, etc.), we will cancel the item and give you refund.

1. Please ensure that you include your name, order number, details of the items that you would like to return and the reason why you would like to return the item.
2. Please note that returns will not be accepted more than 7 days after the delivery date.
3. Import Items may be delivered without lyric cards, and outer plastic packaging which will not be considered defected item.
4. If the CD cases are delivered damaged, we will send you a new case.
5. Used items will not be accepted for return unless unplayable faulty items. The item itself and other parts will not be exchangeable. For more details about Used Items.
