Weezer Tops Oricon Chart!

Weezer's new album "Red Album", released recently from the band for the first time in 3 years, has gone to top of Oricon International Chart as of June 16th!!

That in fact comes as no surprise if you were a dear Weezer fan!
Rivers' love of Japan is evident in the band covering BoA's "Merichri" (Japanese version!) as an exclusive bonus track on the Japanese edition, and mutual respect comes from Japan as a group of Japanese artists/ bands have announced to play "WEEZER FESTIVAL" to pay due respect to the band! Things are getting worked up around Weezer obviously!
It'll be interesting to see the list of participants at the gig, but before that, just check out the latest album "Red Album"!!

With help from their familiar producer Rick Rubin, Weezer's songwriting skills and the band potential that have evolved through years of numerous shows and recordings now are at their peak on this title!!
This album is already a classic that epitomises the pride and confidence of the band to the full - enough so to convince both their new and old fans!!
