期待通りのマントラのおネーサンの♪アルバム。最近ちょいとルックスが良いとすぐＣＤにしちゃう風潮に且ぁっ〜つ！きちんとした歌、飽きさせないアルバム構成、それにボーカリーズは、まさにジャズ、昨今のチャラチャラＣＤなんて、と格段に”らべる”の違いを感じさせられました。　それに、バックいいよね。ケニーのピアノはもちろん、ストレートアヘッドなジョンのベース。１なんて、ピアノがいらないくらい。３パノニカの雰囲気いいですよ。６・１２、定番のバラードだけど透明感のある歌声、これも一聴の価値あり。

With this recording, Cheryl Bentyne places herself in the ranks of such superstars Peggy Lee, Julie London and Annie Ross. Yet Cheryl has a completely original sound. Her crisp, clear and bright soprano is a refreshing change to the current staple of jazz singers who all seem to be husky-voiced altos (although, she has no problem dropping down to a full-bodied contralto). Cheryl sings with sensitivity and sensuality -- and the woman knows how to swing! She is one of the best out there! A must for fans
