偉大なソプラノ歌手ジェシー・ノーマンの音楽のルーツを振り返る企画としてベルリンのフィルハーモニーで行われたライブ。ＪＡＺＺなどのポピュラーが多いが、そうそうたる顔ぶれの女性歌手のナンバーが並び、それを情感籠めて歌い上げるノーマンの至芸を堪能できる。90分のリサイタルがあっという間に過ぎるすばらしいＣＤ。
