There will be love there ~愛のある場所~とOasisのDon’t Look Back In Angerを聞き比べると質感が似てるので面白いですよ!!

結構ハードであったり、ポップであったりいろんな顔を持っているし、基本的にすっきりした生のバンドの音を聴かせてくれるところがいいですね。彼らのヒット曲が全て入っているし、よくまとまったベスト盤です。

あるとき、ラジオから”There will be love there ~愛のある場所~”が流れてきた。Susanna Hoffs?と、耳を疑ったが、歌詞は日本語。でも、サウンドは洋楽っぽい。こんな洋楽志向のばんどが日本にいたんだ。それがブリグリとの出会いだった。どこか懐かしいロック・サウンドにTommyのハスキーなヴォーカルがよく似合い、私の琴線に心地よく響いてくるのだった。あれから12年今も色あせないあの心地よい曲たちがずらりと並んだ。シングルがリリース順に収録されているので、一曲一曲その当時の思い出がよみがえってくる。ブリグリの歴史を辿るには最高の一枚だ!!
