Raleigh, North Carolina's Whiskeytown plays stripped-down rock with a traditional country edge. Singer/guitarist Ryan Adams' literate lyrics and punk roots combined with guitarist/singer Phil Wandscher's Keith Richards-inspired licks create a volatile brew.
