レコードコレクター誌２０１２年の２０世紀のベストギタリスト１００からは漏れてしまいましたが、素晴らしいギタリストだと思います。忌わしいパープル４期のライブイン・ジャパンが足を引っ張ったのか？しかしジェームズ＆ギャング時代やビリー・コブハムとのセッションはとてもいいんですがね、ドラッグで早世したのが悔やまれます。
