Overseen by producer Youth (The Verve's Urban Hymns)-the first two albums having been produced by Owen Morris-this album saw The View decamp to London's Britannia Studios for the first time with a whole batch of songs ready to go.

セカンドは緩急があってよかった。今作はちょっと単調かな。 メロディーもメジャー受け狙いすぎていや。

キャリアを重ねるごとに確実にスキルはあがっているが、デビュー当時から変わらない背伸びせず等身大の瑞々しくもやんちゃな音楽がここにある。音に重さは感じないが、その代わりテンポがよく軽やかな疾走感溢れる楽曲が揃う。スコットランド出身の彼ららしいUK特有の音がしっかり共鳴しているギターロック・アルバム

今回のviewのアルバムは前作とは印象が少し変わる方も多いかもしれなにのでセカンドが好きな方は「あれッ??」っと思う方もいると思います。 個人的な意見ではやはりファーストのviewの曲たちがとてもいいので今作は少し見劣りしてしまいました。
