新曲２曲にセルフカバーの名演を収めた復活作。過去にはない実にアコースティックな仕上がりで新たな魅力も持ちあわせる形になった。80年代初期のナンバーがこれほどに生まれ変わるものかと、彼らのセンスは本当に素晴らしいものがある。次のアプローチにも期待させられる力作。

新曲はゲイリーが書いているタイトル・トラックが、やっぱりいいですね！ 全体的にはアンプラグド風なサウンドになっていますが、変に安っぽいアレンジになっておらず、ブルージーだったり、ボサノバ風だったりと楽しませてくれます。特に１st、２ndの頃の曲はオリジナルのアレンジとはかなり違って、新鮮です。 オリジナルのアレンジは今でも好きですが、セルフ・カバーするなら同じことやっても仕方ないですからね。 トニーのボーカルは更に磨きがかかり、ますます良くなっています。 皆、良い年齢の重ね方をしたなぁ、という感じです。

待望の新作です。元々、演奏力に定評があった彼らですが、さらに円熟味が増したように思えます。といっても、それぞれ、ソロで活動していたわけですから。 新譜２曲の仕上がりもなかなかのできだと思いますよ。アルバム全体的にはアコスティックになっており、落ち着いた感じです。しかし、対照的にLIVEでの彼らはパワー全開です。このギャップが彼らのいいところですね。
