60年代のストーンズに近い雰囲気の曲が多いところが、なかなか良いと思います。ただし、ストーンズをあまり知らない人は、60年代の「ベガーズ・バンケット」「アフターマス」なんかをお奨めします。

ブルースやカントリーを舐めてから味わうのが、このグループ。噛めば噛むほど味が出るのも、このグループ。グラス片手に煙草を燻らせ、明日のことなど忘れて聴ける（た）のもこのグループ、なんて…。生活習慣病などクソくらえ〜の頃は、「Brian Jones」ものや「Beggars Banquet」、「Sticky Fingers」あたりが一番いいと。でも、小学二年のrisa（愛娘）と一緒に「Dixie ChicksのLong Way Around」を歌いながらドライブしていたりする今日この頃では、「11→12→13→6→4→8…」の順番で本作が大のお気に入りなのである。

スティール〜以降の復活ストーンズのアルバムの中ではピカイチの出来。当時よく原点回帰なんて言われたけど、ちゃんと90年代の音になってるのは流石。今もこれからも聞きつづけるでしょう。
