メンバーの意向ではないでしょうが、非常に残念です。曲順もめちゃくちゃ、この順番にした理由は？　何の根拠もなしにずらずらと曲を並べられても、せっかく曲が抜群のクオリティなのに全て台無しです。アルバムというものは一つの世界を創るようなものです。曲はその構成要素となっているため、アルバムから抜けた曲たちはそのクオリティの半分も持たないでしょう。この商品から好きになった人は、オリジナルアルバムと比べてみてどちらが素晴らしいか聞き比べてみてください。同じ曲でも表情か全く変わりますよ。

いまさら感あるけど。 結構ぼろくそ言われてますが、Radioheadに興味がある方の入門盤としては問題ないと思います。かくいう自分もそのような意図で購入し、気に入ったので1st〜6thをそろえていきました。 よく問題にされてる曲順ですが、「ファン」となった今見ると確かに謎ですが、「初心者」として聴いていた時はむしろ「すごくいろいろな音楽をやるバンド」という認識につながり、逆に高印象でした。 また、アルバム全体の雰囲気から切り離されていることで、逆に曲単体が持つ力も感じることができました。「アルバムとして聞いたほうが楽しめる」という意見には賛成ですが、「そうじゃないと意味がない」という意見には疑問を感じます。Radioheadの創る音楽は、曲単体でも十二分に魅力的です。 結論として 既存ファンにはコレクション以上の意味は無いでしょうが、これから聴き始めようという方には選択肢の一つとしてお勧めできます。
