Til We're Free

I began playing the guitar at age 16 when a family friend handed me a one saying, 'as long as you want to play, it's yours'. I've since bought a few guitars of my own as well as a mandolin, banjo, ukulele, lapsteel, and a few harmonicas. I tried my hand at writing music when i first picked up the guitar but didn't find much success with it. After putting the guitar aside while concentrating on Ice Hockey in college (and many life lessons later), something clicked and I had written my first complete song. Little did I know, this one song would open up a whole new direction for my life. Fast forward a few years to the age of 25 and with a few notebooks of songs written, I decided it was time to get into the studio and create what I had in my mind and on paper. I was lucky enough to meet the guys at Lightforce Studios in Richland Wa, and consequently, meet the future producer of my album... Jason Vorpagel. I truly believe that if the pieces didn't fall in the exact way they did, I wouldn't have this particular album for you. Just a little under 2 years of recording in the studio and I have reached a final product with which i'm proud to share with you.
