Digitally remastered two CD set from the soul legend. This set features Percy Sledge's final Atlantic album My Special Prayer, plus 27 bonus tracks. Issued in 1970, My Special Prayer rounded up Sledge's singles from 1969, including covers of Buffalo Springfield's Kind Woman, Burt Bacharach's Any Day Now, and Elvis Presley's True Love Travels On A Gravel Road. The bonus tracks are all Percy's single sides from 1968 to 1973 that weren't issued on albums, as well as five recordings from this period that remained unreleased until a limited edition box set in 2010. The booklet includes lengthy annotation by acknowledged expert Tony Rounce.
