コンセプトアルバムなので、評価は分かれるとは思いますが、オリジナルの2曲は傑出しています。大人のための一枚。御大がボーカリストとしてどれだけ素晴らしいかを再確認できます。

”Till There Was You”や”A Taste Of Honey”を若い頃から歌ってきたポールがこんなロマンチックなアルバムをいつか作るであろうことは予想していた。期待に違わない極上のヴォーカルアルバムだ。ひょっとすると、ポールも７０歳を前にして自分のキャリアの総決算を始めたのではないか。私は毎夜ひっそりとウィスキーを飲みながらこのアルバムを堪能している。ポールは老齢を迎えたが、”My Valentine”を聴いてそっと涙する私もまた年をとったのだと感じている。
