It has been 2 years since she released her last album, "Queen if HipHop". The album "Play" is the Namie Amuro's original album. It contains 12 songs including long hit single "Baby Don't Cry", lead single "Hide & Seek", rock taste of "It's All About You", and magnificent scale of "Pink Key". The album is based on HipHop/R&B music.

This album will be collaboration work with the poupular animation "The World of GOLDEN EGGS". The CD contains bonus animation DVD. In the animation, Namie Amuro is performing as one of the character's voice.

The special edition with DVD contains music video such as "Can't Sleep, Can't Eat, I'm Sick", "Baby don't Cry", "Funky Town", "Hide & Seek", "Hello".

The album is out on 27th of June, 2007.

歌はもちろんのこと、とにかくカッコいいダンスが詰まっているアルバム。安室ちゃんらしい、セクシーでキレのあるダンスが魅力。

ダンスナンバーがいまひとつ受け入れられない日本において、オリジナルのスタイルを示す事が出来た一枚ではないでしょうか。安室ちゃんが歌えばPOP。安室ちゃんが踊ればCOOL。それでイイ。

正直言って安室さんは小室時代が一番好きでした。素晴らしいアルバムなんでしょうけどかなり洋楽過ぎる気がします。でも30過ぎても一線で活躍しているのはすごいことです
