Content Description

主人公は、（現在は落ち目と噂される）世界的に有名な海洋探検家にして、海洋ドキュメンタリー映画監督のスティーヴ・ズィスー（ビル・マーレイ）。横柄で傲慢、自分勝手で超自己チューなのに、どこか憎めない男。この10年近く自作の映画がヒットしていないものの、黄金時代のプライドを捨てきれないでいる。ある日、そんなズィスーの前に、ズィスーの元恋人の息子で、（彼曰く“たぶん”）ズィスーの息子と言う青年ネッド・プリンプトン（オーウェン・ウィルソン）が現れた。「母は死んだ」と告げるネッドにズィスーは「たぶん私の息子だ」と動揺し、自分の栄光のために過去に失ってきたものを思い出す。ズィスーは、クセ者ぞろいの映画製作集団、“チーム・ズィスー”に彼を誘う。チーム・ズィスーは次の航海の準備に取り掛かる。「幻のジャガーザメ」に殺された仲間の仇を討つために、そして、失われた名誉を取り戻すために。しかし、その航海には、想像を越えた冒険と、思わぬ悲劇が待ち構えていた・・・。

ウェス･アンダーソン監督の作品の中で一番スキ！ストーリーも不思議でおかしく、キャストも豪華なのに皆他の作品とは一味違ういい味出してます。特にウィレム・デフォーの役がお気に入り。
