Product Description

This Box Set version of WINTERLAND includes a 4 CDs and 8 LP, plus BEST OF WINTERLND CD. Winterland is drawn from six shows recorded over three nights (October 10, 11 and 12, 1968) at San Francisco's historic Winterland Ballroom. These special performances celebrated the two year anniversary of the Jimi Hendrix Experience and came just as the groundbreaking album Electric Ladyland was released. Most of these recordings were not released until 2011. This is the SONY LEGACY 2011 re-mastered release.

う〜ん。。。このLIVEが公式発売された事はうれしい。音質も過去の非公式発売版と比べ、最高！だけど、このウィンターランドのライヴは1日2ステージ×3日間＝6ステージあるので、今回のような抜粋収録（Disc1〜3までは、1日2ステージからのハイライト収録で、Disc４は、更に3日間からの抜粋）は、ファンとしては、ちょっと不満が残る。 今回の公式発売により、売り飛ばそうと思っていた非公式発売の某レーベルの6CD完全版の価値が上がったと思う。こちらは音質に問題があるが、3日間6ステージをノーカットで全て聴ける事には価値がある。 でも、やっぱり公式音源は、JIMIのギターの音がいいし、なんか複雑な心境だよな。 それから、あと5枚組版は価値がないと思うな。 ウインターランドのライヴと関係ない音源のボーナスCDだし、ダガーレコードの発売済みの「Paris1967/San Francisco1968」と同じ音源だからね。 JIMIフアンだったら既に持っていると思うし。。。 という事で、安い輸入盤4枚組をお勧めします。 では最後に、JIMIのギターに★★★★★！

漸くというか、ついに本命の名演ﾗｲﾌﾞが正真正銘ｵﾌｨｼｬﾙ･ﾘﾘｰｽされる！！先頃のｱﾝｿﾛｼﾞｰでもLAﾌｫｰﾗﾑやﾊﾞｰｸﾚｰ1stｼｮｰから断片的に音源が紹介されていたが、流石にｴﾃﾞｨｰ･ｸﾚｲﾏｰ自ら関わった物と認可ﾌﾞｰﾄの垂れ流し音源では音質が雲泥の差だった。いずれ近い内に上記のﾗｲﾌﾞの完全版からﾛｲﾔﾙ･ｱﾙﾊﾞｰﾄ･ﾎｰﾙまで出るのでは？！…との期待は否が応でも高まる。
