ストーンズのタイム･イズ･オン･マイ・サイドがこの人の曲ってのは知ってたけど、これまでアルバムには縁がなかった。ところが、最近出たニュー･オーリンズのハリケーン救済のチャリティアルバムに入ってるアーマの曲が無茶苦茶よくて、１枚アルバム買おうと思ってたところにこの新譜。タイトルは、もちろんハリケーンのこと。愛するニュー･オーリンズを励まそうとすぐにこのアルバムが作られたんだと思う。ソウルと言っても最近のアリシアやメリー・Ｊみたいにゴージャスに歌いきるわけじゃなく、心をこめた歌ってのはこうやって歌うのよと言わんば
