This CD is a tribute to the unique and wonderful American/Armenian composer Alan Hovhaness. It contains first recordings of several of his works and the actual world premiere performance of his Concerto for Two Pianos and Orchestra. Martin Berkofsky, pianist, has two other recordings of Hovhaness works on the Crystal label, and he is an acknowledged expert in Hovhaness' music. He is the producer of this CD. The CD package contains a 32-page booklet with information on Alan Hovhaness.
